Services in Asia-Pacific Maharajah Abdullah Ahmed bin Zayed al-Nahyan Ilsan, Malaysia Date: 16 October 2000 Subject: The Future and Prospect of Ilsan Ilsan, to be administered by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), is among the most critical and star-shaped projects of the DTI as it seeks to bring its positions in Jakarta to more than a regional level. It partially fulfills the role of the secretary in office (see NT 2007/041) by aiming at strengthening inter-business relations between countries in the Southeast Asia region and considering the regional context in this regard. This MPR uses the framework of the agenda for the Asia-Pacific Building Block Conference: The End of History in the Third Millennium. The completion of the project under the DTI due to the forthcoming General Affairs Ministry conference, of which Ilsan is a component, would boost the country’s economic and scientific development as it would attract more foreign investments in the form of research and development and technical services. Several international firms stake their present and future position in it by taking part in a future stage of the project including Philips (as numerous as 55 offices), Siemens, Bombardier, L’Oréal, Hitachi, KLM, and many others.
